ニューメキシコやアルゼンチンに潜伏、ネイティブ達の伝統ある技法で創られたハットやブーツ、アクセサリーなどをオリジナルラインで日の本へ繋げる"大村氏"が主謀する"niche"。

"niche"とのlinkは俺が以前、ライブペイントした場所へ数日後に道具を取りに行った時に偶然再会した"木村ママ"のhookからのお付き合いだ。
今回は"大村氏"の潜伏先の現地の言語を使ってTシャツのデザインをしたいという俺の要望に"大村氏"がいくつか言葉を送って来てくれた。
その中から"vida"と"alma"を選ばせてもらった。
展示会ではニューメキシコやアルゼンチンでの貴重な話にパワーもらったね。
南米人によく間違いられる俺には親近感すら湧いてきたね。
行った事ないけれどねn。

三月末に都内某所で"artifuct"の展示会が計画されている。
"vans" × "artifuct" artist seriseにlink。
フリーハンドで約100足ぐらい"vans"に描き込む予定。
wht/blkバージョンとblk/whtバージョンが発売されるっす。
念が入るんで世侶志苦です。

東京に戻ってくると、京都出身のプロスノーボーダー西山勇
aka "WM"から俺のデザインしたスノーボードが送られてきた。

yuuは"outflow snowboard"というコアなカンパニーを取り仕切っている。
彼とはkamiを通じて、かれこれ１０年来の付き合いであり
"original world network"の一員でもある。

長野大町をベースに、持ち味でもある感性を武器にスノーボード、スケートボード、音楽とストークしまくっているんだろうな。

yuuとの思い出で今でも覚えてるのが、一緒に電車に乗ってて話をしてると「電車とか乗っている時とか、変な小人みたいの見えてきますよね」ってね。
